Clinical Supervision
Clinical Supervision
The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) defines clinical supervision as:
“A contractual relationship in which a clinical supervisor engages with a supervisee to discuss the direction of therapy and the therapeutic relationship; promote the professional growth of the supervisee; enhance the supervisee’s safe and effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship; and safeguard the well-being of the client.”
At Feel Better Now, we view supervision as a cornerstone of professional growth and competent practice. We provide clinical supervision to practicum students, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practitioners, and licensed professionals. Our practice holds independent status, and our clinical supervisors has completed over 40 hours of formal supervision training, meeting CRPO Clinical Supervisor standards.
Our Approach
Our supervision style is structured and grounded in an attachment- and emotionally focused framework. We also draw on experience with CBT, EFT, SFT, and IPT, tailoring supervision to meet the unique learning needs of each supervisee.
